A Memorial Service for Margaret T. Tait 94 of Port Orange will be held 2 pm Thursday April 28 at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange. Mrs. Tait died Tuesday at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach. Born and reared in Scotland Mrs. Tait came to Florida in 1995. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Women?s Rural Institute both in Scotland. A devoted homemaker Mrs. Tait lived for her family. She was an avid knitter and also enjoyed crocheting. Left to cherish their memories of their lives together are 2 daughters Barbara Gruner of Port Orange and Elizabeth Petrey of Scotland. Another daughter Margaret Tait predeceased her. Also surviving are a sister Sheila Crombie of Scotland; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
