Margaret Ann Patterson
March 14, 1936 – July 20, 2023

Margaret Patterson, age 87 of Murphysboro, Illinois, passed away on July 20th from a long battle with Dementia in her home located in Daytona Beach, Florida surrounded by loved ones.
Margaret ran an in-home daycare known as "Sure Infant Daycare" here in the Daytona Beach area for 28 years. She spent her childhood on her family's farm in Murphysboro, Illinois. She eventually moved herself and her two children to the Daytona Beach area in 1972. Anyone who knew her, knew she had a green thumb like no other, and a love for all things out-houses.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Francis Spindloe (Father) and Grace Edgar (Mother), and her loving husband, Donald Patterson.
She is survived by her sister, Virginia Bowers, her two children, Grace K. Hood (David Hood) and Robert M. Szurgot (Yvonne Szurgot), her four grandchildren, Christopher Hood (Eliza Hood), Matthew Hood (Noel Hood), Jason Szurgot (Gabriela Szurgot), Shannon Risch (Austin Risch), and 8 great-grandchildren.
