Claire Hull, 89, passed away peacefully amidst the love of her family on October 17, 2021. She was born in Mount Kisco, NY to Thomas and Florence Percival.
She is survived by her daughter Patty Folmsbee and her husband Brad Folmsbee of Port Orange, and grandchildren Taylor, Charlize, and Joel, great- grandchildren James and Kennedy. Claire and her beloved husband "Bobby" married April 24, 1965. She lived with her daughter, son-in-law and three precious grandchildren whom she loved so dearly. Claire was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hull, her brother Thomas Percival, her brother-in-law William Hull, sister-in-laws Grace Dreka and Gladys MacTavish, and her nephew Phillip Free. Claire is survived by nephews and nieces, Thomas Percival Jr. and his wife Debbie Percival, Steve Percival and his wife Cathy Percival, Michael Percival and his wife Song Hwa Percival, Patricia (Percival) Cauduro, Lon Dreka and his wife Verlinda Dreka, and Alinda Free. She is also survived by grand/great-grand nephews and nieces and by many friends who cherished her because Claire always had more than enough love for everyone in her life.
Claire was a remarkable teacher with Volusia County for many years, loved traveling, boating, photography, scrapbooking and art. She also loved to watch football.
There will be a public viewing on Thursday October 28th, 2021 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Visitation will be followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00pm with interment following in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue. Immediately following a reception will be held at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Claire's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital (stjude.org).
