Margaret B. Hight, 93, of Palm Coast passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, with Visitation beginning at 12:30 pm.
Margaret was born and raised in Wilson, NC. After business school, she worked at the US Treasury in Washington DC as an administrator. There she met and fell in love with Vincent James Bartolillo. Margaret and Vincent married and started their family with their daughters Mary Joan and Patricia Ann. Margaret worked for the Naval Ordnance Laboratories (NOL) as a stenographer and administrator for 25 years. She and Vincent retired and moved to Palm Coast in the late 1970's.
Margaret enjoyed gardening and volunteered at the Palm Coast Library. She also helped with church activities at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She and Vincent participated in the Italian-American Club. Margaret lost Vincent when he passed away in 1982. Margaret found love again and married Warren Hight in 1985. She enjoyed spending time with her growing family. She added Warren's children to her family as well as grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Margaret was also predeceased by Warren in 2013. Margaret's memory will be cherished by her daughters: Mary Joan Wallace (James) and Patricia Ann Bartolillo; stepchildren: Kerry Daniel (Maria Roberts) and John Hight (Henrietta); by her grandchildren: Andrea Tao (Patrick), James Wallace, Diana Hugue (Matthew Bellard), by her great-grandchild Abigail Hugue, and by her sister Joyce Yale (Russell).
