Margaret Westberry Evans left this world to take her place among the stars. Margaret was always the brightest light in her friends and families universe and we know she will continue to be our North Star, guiding us down life's winding, unpredictable path.

Born in Jesup, GA on May 11, 1925, Margaret moved to this area when she was an infant. Like many young ladies during World War II, she met a handsome soldier named Tom, whom she later married and had 3 children. Out of all Margaret's occupations, the one she treasured the most, was her 16 year career at Daytona Beach Community College (DSC) were she helped students fulfill their dreams.

Margaret was always known for her sense of adventure and mischief. If you saw that little smirk on her face, you knew she was up to no good. Her love of life and sense of humor will be the true legacy that Margaret leaves for her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Linda Lee of New Smyrna Beach, FL, her daughter Diane Rawlins of South Daytona, FL, her son Ron Evans of South Daytona, FL, her six (6) grandchildren and her five (5) great-grandchildren.
