MARGARET RAGLAND COGGINS

1920 ~ 2022

The family of Margaret Ragland Coggins joyfully announces her homegoing on June 28th,  2022 at the age of 101. She has now felt the welcoming arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus  Christ. She served us throughout her life as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend who was always there when anyone needed  her.

Maggie was born in De Sota, Missouri on August 9 th , 1920 to parents Roy Rothwell Ragland  and Magdalen Arvin Lynch. She spent her early years in Missouri then moved to Florida where  she lived until her death. She was a founding member of Wayside Baptist Church in Miami,  Florida and taught a Women's Bible Study there for many years. Maggie was also very active  at University Baptist Church in Coral Gables - she served on a pastor search committee as well  as several other committees while teaching Sunday School there. She was actively involved in  church life throughout her many years and was a member of Eastern Avenue Baptist Church in  St Cloud, Florida at her death.

She was predeceased by her daughter Debbie Coggins; grandson Taylor Pavlick; sisters Mary  Alice Ellis, Ora Fern Fitch; and brother Roy Ragland. She is survived by children Paula  O'Quinn (David), Les Coggins (Cathie), Ron Coggins, and Jim Coggins (Dianne);  grandchildren David O'Quinn III (Nancy), Margaret Trusler (Kip), Leslie Coggins, Lonnie  Coggins (Kayla), Casey Debord, Kelley Taksier (Henry), Kelsey Coggins, Christine Giuliani  (Nick), Tasha VanWert (Ricky) and Kristina Coggins; sixteen great-grandchildren and five  great-great grandchildren.

To honor Maggie's memory, we are holding a celebration of her life at 10:00AM on August  13th, 2022 at Eastern Avenue Baptist Church, 1001 Eastern Avenue, St Cloud, Fl. We invite  anyone who knew her to attend and celebrate her wonderful life. We ask attendees to wear  bright colors.
