A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Margaret "Marge" Chalmers 83 of Palm Coast FL on Monday December 7 2009 at 10:30am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy Palm Coast FL. The family will receive friends on Sunday December 6 2009 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm with a 5:00pm prayer service. She passed away on Wednesday November 25 2009 and was born on April 27 1926 in Bronx NY to Emma Reilly (Pond) and Philip Reilly. Marge was raised in Yonkers NY and attended Yonkers City Schools. She worked in retail sales and then childcare before moving to Palm Coast in 1996. Marge enjoyed spending time with her family and friends cooking music and good conversation. She is survived by her loving family: Husband George; Daughters Kathleen Pesiri (Tony) of Mahopac NY Mary Ann Grady (Bill) of Las Vegas NV Laura Jean (L.J.) Chalmers of Palm Coast; Son Rod Downie of Shokan NY; Brothers Donald Reilly of Milwaukee WI Thomas Reilly of Selden NY; Six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Greg Chalmers; her sister Dorothy Cowles; and her brothers Philip Robert and Edwin Reilly. She will be missed by all.
