Margaret D. Midge Boland 1929 -2006
Palm Coast - Margaret D. Boland 76 a resident since 1990 died at her home at 5:35 AM August 18 2006 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and close friends while under the supportive care of Hospice of Flagler/Volusia County. Midge was born on October 30 1929 in Passaic New Jersey graduated from Pope Pius High School and spent most of her life in Bergen County New Jersey before moving to Palm Coast. She worked in New York City for Grace Line and then for Bay State Milling Company in Clifton New Jersey before taking an early retirement in 1975. After relocating to Palm Coast on July 1 1990 she loved entertaining her new friends at home and enjoyed her close knit social group until her death. She was a member of RSVP the Red Hat Hurricanes and the Perpetual Adoration Group of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Midge also enjoyed reading doing puzzles decorating playing canasta and HGTV. She is survived by John her devoted husband of 31 years 4 loving sons Daniel Lascari and his wife Deborah of Louisiana Charles and John Lascari both of New Jersey Michael Lascari of Fort Lauderdale her beloved daughter Margie Lascari also of Fort Lauderdale her sister Frances Restmeyer of Ormond Beach 3 stepchildren Linda Zadra of New Jersey Bonnie Sawyer of Georgia Laurie LaMonica of Palm Coast 5 grandchildren 6 step grandchildren 2 great grandchildren cousins nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends on Monday August 21 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast on Palm Coast Parkway. There will be a funeral mass on Tuesday August 22 at 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Belle Terre Parkway. Internment will be at St. Augustine Cemetery.
