Marcus was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He shared 30 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Deborah Santiago. Together, they celebrated life's greatest joys, faced its hardest storms, and built a life filled with love, laughter, memories, and unwavering companionship. Their love and devotion to one another were an inspiration to all who knew them.

Above all, Marcus was a devoted father. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children, Eli Santiago, Chayse Swift, Deja Santiago, and Destinee Zayas. His children were among the greatest joys of his life. He took immense pride in each of them and cherished watching them grow into the compassionate, strong, and loving individuals they are today. His love for his children was unconditional, and the lessons, memories, and love he gave them will remain with them forever.

Marcus was also a beloved brother to Caesar, Mercy, Mike, Gertrude, and Yvonne. Their lives were intertwined by countless memories, shared experiences, laughter, and love. The bond they shared will forever remain a treasured part of his family's story.

She will grow up knowing that her grandfather loved her before he ever had the chance to hold her.
