Marcia Jeanne Jackson

Marcia J Jackson, born December 23, 1960, in Winter Haven, Florida to Emmett H and Betty H Jackson, née Hansard, went to be with her Creator, August 30. 2021.

Marcia moved to DeLand in 1969 and was a graduate of DeLand High School, Class of 1978.

She began her career in the banking industry in 1982, with Florida National Bank and rounding out her career at Mainstreet Community Bank in 2021 and met and befriended so many in the community she loved, dearly. The only thing that succeeded her love of her career and community, was the love for family and friends. With a quick wit, gentle smile, and warm heart, strangers easily became friends. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Emmett and Sister-Law Sharon.

She is survived by her Mother, Betty Jackson (DeLand), and brothers Curtis (Brenda) Leesburg, FL and Jason (Susan) Jackson, DeLand, FL. Nephews Tyler (Leah) Wildwood, FL and Clay Jackson Eustis, FL. Nieces Alyssa, Riley, Aubrey, Colbie, Sydney, and Marlie.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, September 8, 2021, 11:00am-1:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home, located: 935 E New York Ave, DeLand, FL 32724.

Funeral Services will be held at Eastside Baptist Church, September 8, 2021, 2:00-3:00, located: 700 S Massachusetts Ave, DeLand, FL 32724 with graveside services to follow at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
