Marcelene "Marte" Lee, 91 of Pierson, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2020 at AdventHealth in Deland, Florida. She was born November 1, 1928 in Bloomburg, Texas to F.O. and Amye (Stuckey) Lee. She was  co-owner and operator of Atlantic Marble and Tile Company. Daytona Beach. She was passionate advocate for animals, and loved her farm in Pierson, Florida. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Whitlock ,her daughter-in-law, Sherolyn Shindoll,  her grandchildren – Scott Shindoll, Heather Shindoll Phelps; Cory Freeman and Morgan Lee Mikel;  great grandchildren Colt Shindoll, Ruthie Phelps, Sophie Phelps, Joshua Phelps, Saydee Phelps and great, great grandchild Remington Shindoll; her sister Elizabeth Steck ;nieces Candice Gross (David), Kim Johnson (Tim) and nephew, Larry Milam (Tammy). She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Shindoll,; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. F.O. Lee,  her sister, Mary Lee Milam , her brother, Robert Lee, and her companion, Bill Powell. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Thursday, February 27, 2020 beginning at 12:00 pm at Lohman funeral Home; 733 West Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach, Florida, Entombment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park, Daytona Beach, Florida.
