Manfred L. Morgan, 95 of Palm Coast, passed away on Nov. 6, 2012, at his home. A visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 12 from 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 3 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW.
A second service will be held on Friday, Nov. 16 at Ebenezer Wesleyan Methodist Church, 1024 Bergen St., Brooklyn, NY, 11216, followed by interment at Cypress Hill Cemetery (Brooklyn) on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012.
Manfred was born in St. Vincent West Indies and raised in Trinidad. After graduating from school he moved to Aruba and was employed for the Largo Oil Transport Company. After meeting and marrying his wife Diana they moved back to Trinidad and then Brooklyn, NY. Manfred worked for the Carpenters Union in NY. He enjoyed working as a carpenter. He loved to build and create new things.
Upon his retirement Manfred and Diana relocated to Palm Coast Florida. He had a passion for his family putting them first. Manfred was a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Palm Coast. He enjoyed quite time reading scripture and watching basketball baseball and boxing.
Manfred is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Diana of Palm Coast sons Touissant Morgan (Betty) of NY Jim Morgan of NY Charville (Theresa) of NJ Clyde (Donna) of NJ Dean (Josephine) of NY daughters Ada Williams of St. Vincent Antoinette Priest( Angel) of NY and Leana Walcott (Steven) of NJ. Manfred was also the loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a nephew Lincoln Morgan (Gloria) Sincere (NJ) and Bernadette (Africa) and many other family and friends.
