CHARLES, Linda

March 18, 1932 ~ December 19, 2022

Malinda Lou Charles (Linda) passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the age of 90 after a brief illness. Born in Torrent, Kentucky, Linda had lived in the Daytona area almost continually since 1957. She enjoyed a long career as a secretary, and served as president of the local secretaries' organization where she was honored as Secretary of the Year on two occasions. Prior to her retirement, she worked most recently for the ARC of Volusia County.

Linda is survived by several cousins, among them Kenneth Addison of Lexington, Kentucky, and by her caregiver, the Reverend Margaret Reinfeld Haridis of Port Orange. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the ARC of Volusia County.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
