MALCOLM ARTHUR STRIPPE

Malcolm Strippe 70 of Ormond Beach passed away June 6 2008. He was born April 1 1938 to Arthur and Dorothy Strippe in Whately MA. Malcolm was a resident of Whately and North Hatfield MA for a number of years retiring to Ormond Beach in 2000.
Malcolm served in the US Army at Ft. Rucker AL in the helicopter maintenance division and was also a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers as a heavy equipment operator. He was also a faithful member of Tomoka United Methodist Church.
He had a passion for classic cars and loved working on his two restoration projects. Malcolm also enjoyed gardening and took great pride in having the best lawn in the neighborhood. Malcolm is survived by his wife of 51 years Lorraine a son David and his wife Janice Strippe of Vermont and a daughter Diane and her husband William Korza of Hatfield MA. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Holly and David Strippe Jr. and Jennifer and Anthony LoMonaco. Interment services will be held in approximately one month in Whately MA.
