It is with great regret that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Majel Allen age 85 of Port Orange. Majel was born in Elizabeth Town KY February 27 1923. She moved to Port Orange from Moline IL in 1995 after working for the Rock Island Arsenal. Majel was a founding member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Moline. She was known for her great cooking and keen sense of humor. Majel is survived by her loving sons Jeff and Greg Allen both of Port Orange; 2 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years John E. Allen in 1992. Funeral services will be in Moline IL on Monday June 23 2008.
