Mae V. Lucas, 91, of Palm Coast, Florida, formerly of Feasterville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at her home on July 19, 2026.

Born on March 28, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mae spent more than 65 years living in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs before relocating to Palm Coast with her husband Walt to enjoy their retirement.

Mae was known for her quick wit when she worked for ACME Markets for more than 20 years and she formed many lifelong friendships. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with her beloved pets. She also loved collecting special knick-knacks and spoons from the places she visited, each one holding a memory of a moment she wanted to remember.

She is survived by her son, James Beidler, Sr., and his wife, Nancy; her daughter, Kathleen Beidler; her grandsons, James Beidler, Jr. and David Beidler; and her four great-grandchildren.

Mae was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert J. Beidler, her second husband Walt “Big Daddy” Lucas and son Joesph M. Beidler.

Funeral services and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who knew and loved Mae to remember her by sharing a story, listening to a favorite song, enjoying a day at the beach, or simply holding close the memories of the special moments they shared with her.
