Mae Mary Baker of South Daytona, Florida, passed away on July 13, 2022. She was born in Canada, on June 9, 1925, to Harry and Katherine (Lechkun) Puchalsky, of Canada.

Mae was a successful hairdresser. She owned her own salon in Toronto, Canada, until her marriage to Raymond F. Baker in 1965. They were very happily married for almost 50 years, and moved to Florida after Raymond retired. Raymond passed away in 2015.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, in the Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Chapel, 1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, Florida. Also on July 20, a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM, at Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, Florida. Burial will follow at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach.

Mae gave to many special charities, but was especially fond of Father Flanagan's Boys Town; Paralyzed Veterans of America; Shriners Hospital for Children; and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
