IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Madhuben Harshadbhai
Patel
October 14, 1938 – July 2, 2025
Madhuben Harshadbhai Patel, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and pillar of strength, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, in Florida, at the age of 86. Born on October 14, 1938, Madhuben lived a vibrant and full life, touching the hearts of all who knew her with her warmth, humor, and unwavering resilience.
Madhuben's journey took her across the world, from her birthplace in Vadod, India to Zambia, the Bahamas, New Jersey, and finally Florida, where she spent her final days surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted wife of Harshadbhai Nathabhai Patel, with whom she shared a life of love and partnership. Together, they built a legacy that extended to their three sons and their spouses: Jayendra and Nita J. Patel, Hitesh and Jalpa H. Patel, and Amit and Nita A. Patel. Madhuben's pride and joy were her seven grandchildren—Neel, Kesal, Mitul, Dillon, Megan, Nikita, and Cyra Patel—who filled her life with laughter and love.
A woman of grace and style, Madhuben was always impeccably put together, from her carefully chosen outfits and jewelry to her matching purses and shoes. She poured her heart into her family, supporting her husband in his medical clinics in the Bahamas and creating a warm home wherever they went. Her love for cooking was legendary, especially for her grandchildren, whom she ensured were always well-fed with her delicious meals and sweet treats. Madhuben's kitchen was a place of joy, where she indulged her love for everything and anything sweet, Taco Bell, McDonald's fries, and her palate later extending to include Chickfil-A after moving to Florida. She always shared these foods and her cooking with those she cherished.
Known for her infectious laughter and ability to light up any room, Madhuben had a remarkable gift for putting others first. Her strength of mind and persistence carried her through profound medical challenges, making her the strongest woman her family had ever known. She faced every obstacle with courage and grace, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and love.
