Madge Muckenhaupt, 92 years old,passed away peacefully on Sunday June 14th at Villa Health and Rehab. She was surrounded by her family and Vitas nurses during her illness. She was born in New York City and received  her bachelors degree from Mount Holyoke . She spent many years working at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry New York and in her 60s went to graduate school to earn her Masters Degree in Library Science. She later retired to Deland Florida.  She is survived by her sister Nancy of California , and three children , Lance , Peter and Meg . She also has 5 grandchildren Meagan ,Zack , Drew , Rachel and Thomas. She had two great grandchildren Eli and Ellie Couldwell of Los Angles California.
