Madge McLendon Jones, age 84, of Deland, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016. She was born on April 12, 1932 in Deland to Sylvester and Mary Ann (Todd) McLendon. She was a homemaker and enjoyed antiquing, gardening and fishing.

Mrs. Jones was the widow of the late Mitchell B. Jones (formerly of Deland) for 50 plus years. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Parker McLendon, of North Carolina; her 4 children and spouses, Georgia Ann Rainey, Mitchell S. Jones,Robert K Jones and Penny Pearson, all of Deland; John M. Jones and Debbie Nelson of Baton Rouge , LA., her daughter-in-law, Wanda Jones of Jacksonville; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am-11:00 am Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Lohman Funeral Home-Deland. Graveside Services will be conducted following the visitation at Pinehurst Cemetery, Deleon Springs. Pastor Peter Migner will be officiating.
