Madeline Dietz 83 of Port Orange passed away on Sunday January 17 2010. A mass will be held on Wednesday January 20 2010 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church at 8:30 am. The family will be receiving friends at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange 1201 Dunlawton Avenue Port Orange on Tuesday from 4 pm until 7 pm. She was born on May 22 1926 in Ridgewood NY. She was a nursing supervisor for Kings Park State Hospital. Madeline loved when the family got together and she enjoyed gardening doing crossword puzzles and playing bingo. She will be remembered for being kind and fair to everyone. Madeline is survived by her sisters Mildred (Jay) Muriel and Elizabeth and sister in law Ann. Also 19 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Gloria and brother Charles.
