Machele Lucille Govern, of Port Orange, on September 26, 2013, lost her battle with cancer at the age of 47. She was a blessing to her family for the short amount of time she was with them, and will be missed by those she leaves behind.

Machele is survived by her beloved husband Byron Keith Govern, her loving son George Turner, her devoted grandchildren Hailey Turner and Keegan Turner. Machele leaves behind her cherished siblings Althea Keeney (Warren), Rosemary Dennison (Mike), Elsiemae Pallone, Roxane Tyler, Arthur Tyler and Walter Tyler. Machele will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends most of all her best friend Cindy Swartzsager.

Machele spent her life being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a great friend to many, as well as a wonderful sister. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Machele could be counted on no matter what. She always worked hard but found time for family and friends. Machele will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial visitation at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. A prayer service will follow the visitation and will be presided over by Rev. Mark Spivey.
