Lydia C. Hancock 85 of Melbourne went to be with the Lord on Three Kings Day January 06 2013. Lydia was born November 11 1927 in Havana Cuba to Jesus & Laureana Velez. Before her journey brought her to the States Lydia learned to write in English so that she could send love letters to her sweetheart Bob. While Lydia was a English teacher in Cuba in the States she and Bob focused on family. She was a gourmet cook who made sure no one was ever hungry. Lydia and Robert were blessed to be married for 60 years. Along with Robert Lydia leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Robert Hancock Bruce Hancock Laurie Forrest & Lydia Davis; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
