Lurline Icilda Arbouine, 94, of Deltona, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026. She was born on November 24, 1931, in Portland, Jamaica, to Calvin Bent and Julia Parkes.

Lurline found quiet joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved reading and often escaped into the pages of a good book, and she especially enjoyed working crossword puzzles, keeping her mind sharp and engaged. Gentle, thoughtful, and caring, she lived a life centered on devotion to her family and to those around her.

Above all else, Lurline was a woman who dedicated her life to serving others. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took great pride in caring for her family. Her kindness, strength, and nurturing spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Elaine (Winston) Wauchope, Audrey Lyseight, Beverly (Bobbie) Pryce, Vilma McDonald, and Michael (Paula) Arbouine; her sixteen grandchildren; her thirty-nine great-grandchildren; her seven great-great-grandchildren; her adopted daughter, Jennifer Caldwell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Lurline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stafford Arbouine, and her son, Lynval Arbouine.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:00a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service led by Pastor Kevin Key beginning at 11:00a.m. at Lohman Funeral Home – Deltona Chapel. Interment will follow at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
