Obituary

Lucille E. Freeman 89 of Holly Hill returned to the Lord on Wednesday April 28 2010. A Funeral Service will be held at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. on Friday April 30 2010 at 1pm with Pastor Dan Proctor officiating. Interment will follow at Volusia Memorial Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband James C. Freeman Sr.

Lucille was born in Charlotte North Carolina on September 2 1920 to Henry Samuel & Lenor Belle Estridge. She enjoyed spending time with her family gardening bowling golf volunteering at the Library for the blind and being parishioner of Crossroads Baptist Church in Daytona Beach. Lucille started playing golf at the age of 70 and in that short time she made four hole in one's. She was a true family person and they were her entire life. Lucille's presence will be greatly missed but her life will always be remembered.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband James C. Freeman Sr. father Henry Samuel & mother Lenor Belle Estridge five brothers one sister and daughter in law Ginny Freeman.

Survivors include her loving son's James C. (Ginny) Freeman Jr. of Port Orange Tom E. (Diane) Freeman of Port Orange Roger Neal (Jill) Freeman of Port Orange daughter Sandra (Richard) Lee of Mineral Bluff Georgia six grandchildren five great grandchildren and beloved yorkie Precious.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lucille's honor to Odyssey Hospice at 149 South Ridgewood Avenue Suite 400 Daytona Beach FL 32114. Condolences may be shared with the family www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
