Obituary

Louise Shamas 88 of Palm Coast Florida passed away February 22nd at Kindred Hospital Green Cove Springs FL. All services have been postponed until further notice. All arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW Palm Coast FL. Louise was born in Turkey and lived in Paris for over 25 years. After the war in 1947 she moved to the States settling in Ridgefield NJ. In 1980 Louise and her husband moved to Palm Coast FL. Louise worked for Prentice Hall as a secretary for many years but her real profession was raising and caring for her family. She had a love for cooking especially international dishes and was an outrageous baker. Louise was known for her needle point winning many awards over the years including 1st in the state of FL. She loved life and everything about it. She was an active member of Saint Thomas Episcopal Church and member of their Ladies Guild. She was also involved in the Eastern Stars N.J. Club the VFW Auxiliary and past president of PC French Club. Louise was preceded in death by her son James Shamas. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Thomas of Palm Coast FL. son Ronald Shamas and his wife Rose of Flagler Beach FL. brother Jack Abadji and his wife Barbara of Palm Coast FL.
