Louise P. Ruger 90 passed away peacefully on July 11 2012 surrounded by her loving grandchildren. Born in Brooklyn NY Louise moved to Ormond Beach with her husband Thomas following WWII. They owned Ruger's Awning Shop and retired to Flagler Beach in 1984. She enjoyed reading traveling crocheting needlework and her grand- and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughters Louise Ruger Peres and Alice Ruger Surrency. She is survived by son Tommy Ruger; grandchildren Terry Peres Tanya Peres Lemons Virginia Ruger Paterno Julie Hayes Monica Surrency; and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral service is Friday July 13 at 1:30 pm Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the DAV or Florida Hospital HospiceCare.
