A Celebration of Life Honoring
Mrs. Louise Perdue Nelson

A virtuous woman of boundless Love and strong commitment, Mrs. Louise Perdue Nelson was born on September 8, 1937 to the late Mr. And Mrs. Ulysses Grant (Eula Chaney) Perdue. Growing up in Woodbury, Georgia she attended the Bethel AME School of Learning under the direction of the late Mrs. Glener West. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor J. D. Walker. She also was a member of the Senior Choir later united with the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses.

She was blessed with ten children, six preceded her in death (four infants and her eldest son Roy Lee Price and the youngest R. C. Harps Jr.). Louise loved her family and her doors were always open because she never met any strangers.

She was an awesome cook and she taught her skills to her children and grandchildren. Genuine love and kindness - unconditional traits.

Louise was a very hard worker, dedicated, faithful and committed employee. She worked at James Superette until the door closed. She joined the Morrisons food service team at the Roosevelt Warmsprings Institute for Rehabilitation in Warmsprings, GA. There she served faithfully and retired with 25 years of service. How Great Is Our God!

Cherished memories of this strong, virtuous, Jehovah fearing woman filled the lives of her husband, Mr. Willie Nelson (Pop) two sons; Mr. William Steve and Mr. Grant Perdue, both of Woodburg, GA. Two daughters, Mrs. Patricia (Willie Lee) Bowles of Manchester, GA. And Mrs. Lorraine (Stanley) Weaver of Woodburg, GA. Lucy Lee, Rosie Lee, Doris, Walter, Annie Bell and Fred all preceded her in death in this journey of life. She had a treasure chest of 48 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Special grandchildren Doobie, Mario, Snoopee (deceased) Rat Rat, Tra', Brittany, Shay, Ray, KeeKee and Sharhonda. Special friends Betty Joe Lockhart, Pat Sheffield, Christine Dixon, Addie Trice, Hubbard, Betty Moody, Alphonso and Bubba. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins all held their special places in her heart.

A strong, gentle, faithful and trusting light has gone out and when tomorrow starts without Louise, Gently whisper .

God Grant me The Serenity to accept the Things I cannot change, Courage to change the Things I can and Wisdom to Know the Difference.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Cremation to follow services at a later date.
