Former New Hampshire resident Louise P. Briggs died in Orange Park FL after an extended illness. Two years after the death of her husband in July of 2003 she moved to Jacksonville FL to be closer to family.
Graveside services to be conducted by Keith Wigel of Sovereign Grace Church in Port Orange will be held at 3:00 P.M. on November 30 at Daytona Memorial Park 1425 Belleview Ave. Daytona Beach FL
She began her life in Webster Mass. born to Mr. & Mrs. Richard Mauke on June 25 1922. She married Raymond M. Briggs of Athol Mass in 1941and began a marriage challenged by the long separations demanded by WW II. Ray was the love of her life and they celebrated 63 years of marriage.
She is survived by 3 children (Nancy Caron Pamela Luther and Allyn Briggs) and their spouses 11 grandchildren 30 great-grandchildren as well as 5 great-great grandchildren.
