Venero Louis A.

Louis A. Venero age 88 passed away at Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast on Tuesday December 19 2006. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday December 27 2006.
The family will receive friends at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow the funeral mass at Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach.
Louis was born in San Turce Puerto Rico on July 5 1918 to Pablo & Teresa (Quiles) Venero. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and later Louis worked for the New York Transit Authority in their maintenance department. After retiring in 1987 from the Transit Authority Louis & his wife Arcadia moved to Palm Coast from Brooklyn NY in 1989. Louis enjoyed fishing and golf; but his greatest joys were from his family.
Louis was preceded in death by his beloved wife Arcadia who passed in 1999. Left to cherish their memories of Louis are his children; sons Michael Venero of Palm Coast and Lawrence Venero of New York and daughter Carol Cannon of Orlando and his grandchildren Maria Bryan Michael Luke Lauren Jasmine and Jose.

In lieu of flowers donations in Louis' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 1620 Clyde Morris Blvd. Ste. 300 Daytona Beach FL 32119.
