Louis J. Polito age 71 of Ormond Beach died peacefully at home on Sunday September 26th 2004 surrounded by his family. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday September 30 at 4:00pm at Lohman Ormond Funeral Home. His family will receive friends from 2:00 -4:00 pm preceding the service. A reception in Louis? honor will follow immediately after the service at the Tomoka Oaks Country Club.

Louis was born to Peter and Gertrude Polito in Rochester NY. He graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1956. He served during the Korean War as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps where he was stationed in Newfoundland.

Louis a retired engineer and his wife Glenna have been married for 47 years and moved to Ormond Beach 32 years ago. He was actively involved in St. Pals and the Tomoka Oaks Country Club Men?s Association. He was a member of the Moose Club of Ormond Beach and the Flagler Gun & Archery Club. He was also a Board Member of the Alzheimer?s Association and TRIAD. Louis loved golfing hunting fishing and skeet shooting.

Louis leaves behind his loving wife Glenna their four daughters Nancy and Jim Schwarz Martha and Peter O?Neill Michelle and Hugh Malloch and Suzanne and Scott Lynch; and three granddaughters; Megan Feinberg Celeste Boudreaux and Mia Schwarz.
