Obituary

Louis E. Marzilli 82 of Ormond Beach passed away Monday January 3 2005. His family will be receiving friends at the Lohman Ormond Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach from 2 pm until 4 pm and from 6pm until 8 pm. Thursday. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Friday January 7 2004 at 10:00 am
Mr. Marzilli was born in Fall River MA. On June 28 1922 to Caroline and Elenterio Marzilli. He was one of 6 children Eldest Brother Marico and Ann predeceased Twin sisters Anna Albert and Richard all living in the Fall River area. Mr. Marzilli graduated from BMC Durffee High School in Fall River MA. As a young boy growing up during the depression he worked hard at many jobs including the family bakery ?Marzilli?s Bakery. Soon after graduation Mr. Marzilli enlisted into the Navy during WWII; seeing action during the Normandy invasion among other conflicts. Mr. Marzilli also served with eh US Navy in the Korean War. In 1946 Mr. Marzilli married Ann Petrovich in West New York N.J. Shortly after the Korean War Mr. and Mrs. Marzilli moved to Central Valley NY. There Mr. Marzilli owned and operated several businesses. In 1968 Mr. Marzilli moved to Ormond Beach FL owning and operating the Ormond Beach Manor Motel at 205 S. Atlantic Ave. There after Mr. Marzilli became a realtor at Cameron Realty Adams-Cameron in Ormond Beach working in the Commercial Dept. and was often the # 1 sales associate in the area. Also during this time Mr. Marzilli continued his own desire to develop properties. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years Ann and his three sons Albert Monte and Louis all residing in the Ormond area. Also Mr. Marzelli has four loving grandchildren Natasha Monte Hana and Albert. He will be missed by all. Condolences may be made via the family guest book at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
