Lorraine M. (Higle) O'Sullivan 81 of Ormond Beach Florida passed away September 27 2010 at Florida Hospital-Oceanside. Lorraine was born and raised in Tarrytown New York. A visitation will be held on Tuesday Sept. 28th between the hours of 6-8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 722 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach with a scripture wake service at 7:00 pm. While living in Tarrytown she was very active in the Local Division 11 of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. She was past Westchester County president and held many other offices in her fifty years of membership. She was also a member of the American Irish Association in Westchester where she held numerous offices. In Ormond Beach she was a parishioner at St. Brendan Catholic Church and an active member in the church women's club as well as a member of the Oceanside Country Club and the Irish American Club of Greater Daytona Beach. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Jack O'Sullivan her sister Maureen Brown brother George Higle brother-in-law sister-in-law in Ireland and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at a Transfiguration Church; Tarrytown NY at a later date interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
