Mrs. Lorraine D. Legacy

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Lorraine D. Legacy, age 79 of Port Orange, who died on 8/23/2017 at Halifax Hospital will be held on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017, 6:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, FL., with Pastor Stanley Wickett officiating. Lorraine was born in Springfield, VT.

She moved to this area from Massachusetts. She retired as a Cardiac Tech. after 30 plus years. Once retired, Lorraine volunteered at Florida Hospital and Meals on Wheels. She was a member of Sorosis Club of Orange City and Cribbage Club in Port Orange. Lorraine was the first coach for women's Little League in West Newbury, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Walter Sr., daughter Sheila. She is survived by her son Walter, Jr. (Deland, FL), Robert (Lynn Haven, FL), Stephen (Port Orange, FL) and Lyle (Ipswich, MA) and a daughter, Sherie (Port Orange, FL). Lorraine is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, several cousins and many friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider the American Cancer Society.
