Lorraine Johnson Jones, 94, of Holly Hill, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014. She was born 3-20-1919 in Hartford, CT. She and her late husband, George, moved to Ormond Beach 36 years ago from Newington, CT. She was an avid boater, golfer, swimmer, and a member of Eastern Star.

Lorraine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband George; by her two brothers Raymond Johnson and Robert Johnson, and her sister Shirley Swanson. She is survived by her four children: Dick Jones (Jacque), Gary Jones (Gail), Janice Glennie (Bill), and Sue Broen (Bob). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Bishops Glen Chapel, 900 LPGA Blvd, Holly Hill on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to Hospice of Volusia County or the American Lung Association.
