Lorraine V. Heck 93 of Port Orange peacefully passed away Sunday March 25 2012. Lorraine's life will be celebrated with a Visitation at Cardwell Funeral Home on Tuesday March 27 from 5-7 with a Rosary said at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday March 28th at 1:00pm. Burial at Daytona Memorial Park will immediately follow.

Lorraine was born in Brooklyn NY and moved to Florida with her husband Charles in 1957. She worked as a sales clerk for Woolworth and as a banquet waitress.

Lorraine will be remembered for her love of her family. She loved spending time with her children grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always asked for more photos of the family. Lorraine also enjoyed playing Bingo and reading. She was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church.

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Charles and son Robert. She leaves to cherish her memory: her son James Heck (Sharon Strohm Welk) daughter Carolyn (William) Vause; loving grandchildren: Christine (Dennis) Vause Brophy Kathleen (John) Vause Erdelyan Angela (Darrell) Vause Rich Kenneth (Carlene) Heck Jeffrey (Melissa) Heck Thomas (Elena) Heck Alex Heck and Dylan Heck. She will be sadly missed by 10 great grandchildren.
