Avery 88 of Port Orange who died Friday June 24 2005 at New Smyrna Hospice will be 3 pm Tuesday June 28 at the Lohman Funeral Home Daytona where friends may call after 2 pm. Burial will be in Daytona Memorial Park. Born in Philadelphia PA Rainey moved to Florida in 1948 from Burlington NJ. She was a school bus driver in Cocoa Beach who enjoyed Bingo cards and traveling. She was especially fond of her travels to Alaska Hawaii and the Holy Land.
The wife of the late Charles Avery who passed away in 1987 she is survived by a son Charles E. Avery Jackie of Newburg IN; 2 daughters Bonnie Barnard and her husband Carol of South Daytona and Judith Pollard of Daytona Beach; a brother Leroy Keller Pat of Palm Bay; a sister Helen Oldershaw of Sun City AZ; 7 grandchildren Tanya Sault Earl of Daytona Beach Denesse Miljan Steve of Bowling Green KY Tami Terrall of South Daytona David Avery Carla of Jackson TN Annette Karafa Mark of South Daytona Nanette Pelehach Mike of Port Orange and Kevin Barnard of South Daytona; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-greatgrandchild.
