Lorna Mae Waldron, 82, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away on May 2, 2015 at Halifax Hospice Health Center, Ormond Beach.

A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Saturday, June 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach, officiated by the Reverend Dr. R. Michael Foley of Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

A native of Queens, New York, she's been a resident of this area since the early 90's. She earned her Master's degree in education from Paterson State College and a New Jersey State certificate in elementary school teaching. She taught reading in the Ringwood New Jersey Elementary School for twenty-two years, she also was a volunteer substitute in local schools. Lorna loved playing the bells at the Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church and truly enjoyed her obedience training with her dog, Chadd.

Lorna was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Sanford Waldron, and by a son, Jeffrey Waldron. She leaves behind her son David Waldron, her step-daughter, Barbara Bakke and her husband, Bill, seven grandchildren, Scott, Keith, Leanne, Spencer, Parker, Rhianna, and Ciara, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Emily, Eric, Ashley, Dylan, and Logan.
