Loretta Malena 63 a long-time resident of Daytona Beach FL passed away suddenly on April 23 2010. She was born on September 5 1946 in Philadelphia. She graduated from DBCC and spent her years as a homemaker. She enjoyed helping others sharing good times reflecting on the past and DANCING! Her greatest passion was her family. Left to cherish her memory are her son Joe Malena and his wife Marina; daughter Tisha Marlowe and her husband Daniel; son Rick Shank; father and mother Edward and Josephine Sweeney; brother Eddie; sisters Mary and Pat; grandson Stephen Marlowe; and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe on July 14 2008. Services will be private at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
