Lorena Hannah Heuer age 85 Port Orange was called home to be with our Lord on Monday September 7 2009. A funeral service in her honor will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday September 11 2009 at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home with Rev. Pastor Donn Dobberstein officiating followed by an interment at Daytona Memorial Park. The visitation will be held today (Thursday Sept. 10) from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Lorena was one of seven children born in N. Tonawanda New York to William and Charlotte Pankow. She dedicated her life as a homemaker wife mother grandmother and great grandmother. She loved taking care of her family sewing and was an excellent cook. She came to the Daytona Beach area with her husband in January of 1981 and was a proud member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. She will best be remembered for her love of children. Her parents four brothers a sister and her beloved husband Clarence precede her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Dana Heuer Phoenix AZ and Peggy Eastman Port Orange FL; four grandchildren; 5 1/2 great-grandchildren; a sister Jane (Harold) Heuer New York and her loving church family. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
