Loranza D. Fields Sr. (LD) 84 of Port Orange Passed away peacefully on January 2 2012 at Halifax Health Hospice of V/F in Port Orange. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 7 2012 10:30am at the High Point Church 1495 Herbert Street Port Orange FL. with a burial to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-7pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange. LD was a loving husband father and grandfather. He was born in Logan Country West Virginia and lived in Chicago for 30 years before retiring to Port Orange in 1992. He was a 32nd degree Shriner for 49 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years LaVeta Fields (Belcher); His son Loranzo Fields Jr. of Palm Coast FL.; his daughter Deborah Sokolowski (Jack) of Chicago; his four grandchildren: David Kristie Keith and Jacqueline; eight great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter; and his sister Freda Mae Porter (Thomas) of Port Orange.
