Lois Jean Harner 80 of Ormond Beach FL passed away July 15 2009. She was born April 20 1929 in Akron OH. In the years that followed she lived in Connecticut the Greater Washington DC area and Phoenix AZ prior to settling in Ormond Beach in 1992. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Ormond Beach was a past member of the Business and Professional Women's Association and volunteered much of her time to the Republican Executives Committee. She was also a member of her church choir as well the Bear Creek Chorus. Lois enjoyed gardening cooking and was an avid reader. During football season she could almost always be found at Houligan's rooting for the Washington Redskins. She was devoted to her family and will be remembered by her children as being not only a mother but a best friend and confidant. She will be dearly missed and will be in the hearts of her family forever. Left to cherish her memory are her Daughters Kim (Alan) Steele of Sterling VA Laura and Paul Murphy of South Daytona; Son Donald Lawrence Morris of South Daytona; Sister Charlene Harrison of Arizona; six Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Russell to whom she was married 42 years. Services for Lois will be announced at a later date.
