Lois Mae Dreyer age 92 of Port Orange went home to be with our Lord on Friday March 6 2009. A viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday March 10 2009 from 6:00p.m.-9:00p.m. and a funeral service in her honor will be held Wednesday March 11 2009; 11:00a.m. both at the Port Orange Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes. Entombment will follow the service at Daytona Memorial Park North Daytona Beach.
Lois was born in Chicago Illinois to Daniel and Mae Murphy; she dedicated her talents as a Personal Supervisor for the Kresge's Department store chain and was a devoted wife mother grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a proud and active member of Eastern Star Chapter 750 Marisa II; The Shrinettes New Smyrna Beach FL; The Independent Order of Foresters Daytona Beach and the Port Orange Elkhart's #2723. She enjoyed doing ceramics spending time with her husband family and friends and traveling especially to Hawaii.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 70 years William A. Dreyer; 2 children Judith Ann (Mark) Higgins of Port Orange Florida and William A (Carol) Dreyer; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a sister Pat (Al) Hanson of Plum City Wisconsin.
Her daughter Donna Lee Fletcher preceded her in death (2007).
