Lloyd Alexander Young
August 14th 1958 - February 13th 2025

Lloyd A Young, age 66 of Crestview, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday  February 13th 2025 in Daytona Beach.

Lloyd was born in Perth, Scotland to the late Herbert and Alexanderina Young.

On July 18th 1981 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Julie (née) Pettitt in Bognor Regis, England.

Lloyd served his country proudly for 12 years in Her Majesty's Army with the Royal Corp of Transport in Northern Ireland, Germany and England.

Once in civvy street he pursued his love of golf, either playing, golf course construction, or golf management. A job opportunity came up that took him and his family across the pond to America. Living in Wisconsin for 20 years, he worked tirelessly doing the work he loved. Another opportunity moved them to Florida for the past two years.

Lloyd is survived by his devoted wife Julie, dearly loved dad of Lesley and Lloyd Jnr, much loved grandpa/papa of Jordan, Rhys, Grace, Abigail, Charlie and Raegan.
Dear father-in law to Michael and Shannon.
Dearest brother to Gail, Dawn and Shirley. Dear Uncle to Debbie, Alister, Hailey, Marcus, Ronald, Mitchell, Emma, Jack, Amber, Eva, Becky, Matthew and Daniel.

Lloyd will be remembered for energetic personality, great smile, love for his family and always being a true Scotsman.
He was a great friend to many and will be sorely missed.

A celebration of life will be held in Wisconsin this Summer, time and date to be arranged.
