Lisa Cain Masters was born in Framingham, Massachusetts on April 28th, 1960. She lived her early years in Sewickley, PA and graduated from Quaker Valley High School in 1978. She then proceeded to earn a degree in finance from Clarion University in 1983. Post-graduation, she worked in Pittsburgh, PA for Duquesne Capital Management for Stanley Drunkenmiller. After some time, she made the move to Nashville, TN where she met and married Clyde Masters. Together, they raised 3 children.
In 2002, the family moved to Port Orange, FL where Lisa worked in real estate and commuted to work at Disney World. In 2011, Lisa authored a book about her experience with cancer and the reconstruction she had been through in hopes of one day helping other women. This then led to her becoming an avid blogger for the Huffington Post.
These were a few of the things she was most proud of, but nothing meant more to her than her children and family. She leaves behind her three children: Whitney, Rachael, and Justin, her husband Clyde, her parents Mr. and Mrs. David Cain and two siblings, Stephen and Michael Cain.
A Memorial Service will be held in Lisa's honor Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11:00am at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Contributions in her honor can be made to the Autism Society of Greater Orlando at 1650 Sand Lake Road Suite 235 Orlando, FL 32809 or at www.asgo.org.
