Lisa Watkins Harris, 53, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. She was born on November 3, 1960 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Preceded in her death was her Father, Joel R. Watkins. Surviving her death: her husband, Vernon R. Harris whom she married in April 2000, her daughters: Aimee FuYu, (12), Anna Grace (10); stepsons: Doug and Chris Harris, her mother, Annalouise Watkins, 4 brothers and 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Warner Christian Academy and went on to earn her degree at Anderson University in Indiana. She was an educator at Sugar Mill Elementary School in Port Orange as well as other schools in Volusia County where she touched the lives of many students for over 20 years. Lisa's passions included her family and taking adventures with them. Being a mother and wife was the joy of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be at Tomoka Christian Church, 1450 Hand Ave. Ormond Beach, Florida at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014.
