Linda Christine Smith, 82, of Ormond Beach, Florida went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 23, 2026 with her husband and daughter by her side. She was born on June 9, 1943 in Hamtramck, Michigan. Linda loved music and always had a song on her heart. She sang in church choirs and groups throughout her life. Most recently, she performed at nursing homes with “Joyful Noise” ministering to those that are unable to fellowship at church. During her working years at Embry Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Florida she made many friends and memories over her 27 years as a Graduation Evaluator. She was also artistic and enjoyed making and painting ceramics.

Linda is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dennis R. Smith; daughter, Rhonda E. Smith; son, Rodney Smith; son, David Smith; grandson, Hunter Smith; granddaughter, Celine Smith; and other extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 1pm at Rima Ridge Baptist Church located at 11 Cone Road, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174.
