Linda Doerrler was born in New York City on March 7, 1936 to August Gsottschneider and Babette Virnekas. She married Ludwig Doerrler in 1957 and had a son, William, in 1959. She worked as a school crossing guard in Queens and later as a legal secretary in Manhattan for many years. She and Lou moved to Ormond Beach in 1992. She enjoyed making ceramic dolls, travelling, and playing cards. She is survived by her son, William, his wife, Karen, and their three children, Linda, Andrew, and Erica Doerrler.
