Linda Iacobelli-Bennett, 52, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away October 13, 2014, at hospice after a long battle with cancer. She was born January 31, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of late Mary M. and Isidore M. Iacobelli. She was the fourth of 6 siblings. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University of Boca Raton, Florida. Linda was beloved as a teacher by the staff and students at Boston Avenue School, Horizon Elementary and Sugar Mill Elementary schools. She also taught arts and crafts to seniors at Sterling House of Port Orange. She is survived by her daughter Amanda, son Bryan, a grandchild, Ashlynn, brothers Michael Iacobelli of Boca Raton, Florida, Christopher Iacobelli (Theresa) of Davie, FL, Paul Iacobelli (Elizabeth) of Weston, FL, Matthew Iacobelli (Karen) of Stuart, FL, and sister, Donna McGregor (Craig) of Chelsea, Michigan. She is also survived by an extended network of Aunt's, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Linda possessed a high level of creativity and care for others, which she shared through her teaching career and interpersonal relationships. She was loved by many whose lives were enriched by her caring demeanor and inner beauty. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, Florida 32127. A gathering will begin at 12:00 P.M.
