DOLINER LILLIE GOTTLIEB- 84 passed away Wed. January 12 2005 after a long illness with kidney disease. Lillie came to this area from her birthplace New York City in 1947 with her husband Yorke and their five-month old daughter Barbara the oldest of three children. Married at age 21 and widowed at age 60 she was a co-founder owner and vice president of Daytona Salvage Co. and president of the Yorke Doliner Co.

She was an ardent supporter of Jewish causes educational endeavors and the artistic community. Lil was a founder and honorary President of Temple Beth El an active Director on the boards of the Volusia County Jewish Federation Stetson University School of Music and Daytona Beach Community College Foundation. She was named Women of the Year for 1999 and presented with DBCC Patron Emeritus Award in 2001. She was a founder and patron of the Museum of Arts and Sciences a member of MOAS Endowment Society winner of the Special Achievement Award and a sponsor of the Jeremy Doliner Scholarship fund for children at the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Lil was an Angel of the Seaside Music Theatre sponsor and patron of the London Symphony Society and a Lively Arts-New Journal Center Endowment Sponsor. She was a member of both Oceanside Country Club and Halifax River Yacht Club. She was also a member of Hadassah and Temple Israel.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Yorke and her grandson Jeremy Y. She is survived by her two daughters Barbara Doliner Conley and Allison Doliner Hockman and her son Jeffrey Doliner and daughter in law Sharon her grandchildren Mitchell Levine Joshua Levine Jessica Hockman Melissa Hockman Noelle Morone Robert and Joey Butler Todd and her great grandchildren Deven Morone and Sophie Butler; nephews and neices Steve Stein Linda Sonny Bernfeld Dave Enid Cramer Irene Rigelon Dan and Andrew Gerbaud Gail and Eric Cooper Lynn.

Services will be held at Temple Beth El 579 N. Nova Road Ormond Beach Sunday January 16 2005 at 2:00 p.m. and burial will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery White Street Daytona Beach. Contributions may be made to Yorke Doliner Educational Fund 579 N. Nova Road Ormond Beach Fl 32174 and/or the Jeremy Y. Doliner Memorial Scholarship c/o First National Bank 4 N. Beach Street Ormond Beach 32174. Lohman Ormond Funeral Home is in charge.
